Queen of Pretzels... dang. I'd buy you a pint to hear that story...
I had the bestest birthday EVAR. Sausage and squash pizza, snuggles, a good long ride, seeing a love get a new bike, semi-traditional Southron cooked by a Jewish woman (OMG that woman can COOK) complete with Mint Juelps, a lazy day, another good ride, and, oh, yeah, somebody stuffed my inbox with MUSIC. :)
Supposedly Something Happened in that place from whch they bring folks in at Fourteen Hundred Hours, but I'm personally suspicious what it all really means, the story being muddled and all... Ah, well, BIRTHDAY. BELTANE. MUSIC. Time enough to sort out the riddles.

"This night I am become the Queen of Pretzels,
For Kim has made for me a pretzel crown;
The forty-eight that broke - I think she ate them.
That's quite a lot of salt to swallow down.
For pretzels are such tasty little creatures,
And pretzels are a very moreish snack;
I ate some the last time I sang in Brighton -
I'm very very glad you asked me back!
I am the Queen of Pretzels!"
Of course, that may not actually leave you anythe wiser...:-)
