Summary: This is Jin and Yamapi’s first Christmas together as a couple and Jin wants his gift to be special… in all that it entails.
Warning: Seeing as how this is a gift for my beta, linnjay, this has not been beta'd... Gomen.
A/N: This is a Christmas present for
linnjay… and therefore, also an indirect present for ChangBang. All I was told was to make her smile this Christmas. This was the result. *waves* Hope it’s good enough! Comments always appreciated! ^-^

[December 24, 2007]
When Yamapi opened his eyes Christmas morning, the first thing he saw was red. Blinking and bringing his eyes into focus, he realized what they were.
Sitting up, sheets falling to his waist, he smiled at the sight of a dozen red roses. Reaching out, he picked up the card sitting in front.
Ohayo~!
I made breakfast
so come out. (Don’t
worry… Your kitchen’s
unharmed.)
Curious, Yamapi got out of bed and headed towards the living room. He smiled when he saw Jin waiting for him on the couch. “Merry Christmas,” he murmured before leaning down for a kiss.
Jin used his arm to pull himself up. “Merry Christmas, Pi. Look! I made breakfast!” he said, gesturing to the table. “C’mon! Let’s eat.”
He laughed at how excited his boyfriend was. “Wa~! Oishisou!”
This time, Jin had set up a waffle iron, batter next to it, with an assortment of fruits. “See? No disaster kitchen!”
‘Thank god,’ Pi thought mentally, sneaking a peak at his kitchen. “So who’s kitchen did you use?”
Jin grinned. “Ueda offered to help since he said that he didn’t really have plans for this morning, but I guess Ryo-chan finally confessed or something, cause Junno helped me instead,” he rambled, turning on the waffle iron.
“What’s your schedule like today?” he asked, taking a bite of the first waffle. “Mm… Umai~!”
“Woo~!” Jin cheered victoriously. “Hm… Nothing at the Jimusho, but I told my mom I’d stop by after breakfast.”
“We still on for dinner?”
Jin shoved a strawberry in his mouth. “Mm hmm…”
.oO@Oo.
For the rest of the day, Yamapi prepared for their dinner. He’d told Jin that they were going out for dinner, but he’d really planned for them to have a quiet dinner at home.
When all the preparations were all set, he glanced at the clock. Good. Jin wasn’t supposed to be there for another 2 hours. He sat on the couch with his notebook.
He’d already gotten Jin a Christmas present, but he’d been toying with an idea that would be having fun with everything that had been happening recently. With that in mind, he began writing.
.oO@Oo.
He was pleased that Jin was glad to stay home that night… Not that he had a choice or anything. And unlike his boyfriend, Yamapi was not a danger in the kitchen.
The older boy chirped happily as Pi served him some rice to go with the pepper steak. They planned out their upcoming vacation to Hokkaido in between bites of food.
While Pi cleared the dishes, Jin placed the present he’d gotten him under the mini Christmas tree. He’d originally planned on getting him a ring, but had decided to wait on that. He smiled brightly when Yamapi walked back into the living room.
The younger boy laughed. “Present time?” he asked, seeing the eager look on Jin’s face.
“Okay! You first!”
When he opened the box, he pulled out the necklace that lay inside. On the end of the silver chain was a circle with a small crystal star sitting on the inner rim. “Wow… Is this one of your brother’s designs?”
“He made it, but I helped design it,” Jin said proudly.
“Uh… It’s just a circle with a star.”
His boyfriend pouted. “You’re just saying that because you haven’t seen the cool part yet.” Jin pulled out the necklace he was wearing under his shirt. Bringing his pendant to lay on Pi’s, the two pendants snapped together. He held it out for him to see.
Jin’s crescent moon and Yamapi’s star sat neatly together within the circular silver frame. Pi reached out in amazement. “I love it,” he breathed.
Jin beamed. “It’s a set. Like us.” Disconnecting them again, he helped put it around his boyfriend’s neck. “Okay… My turn!”
He handed Jin the large box. Out of habit, he shook the box, his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth. He frowned a bit when it made no sound.
When he gave Yamapi a questioning look, Pi rolled his eyes. “You don’t think that after knowing you for how many years, I wouldn’t know you were going to do that? I padded the box.”
Now too curious to be patient, Jin tore through the wrapping paper. Somewhere in the packing peanuts, he found another wrapped box. Tearing through that layer too, he opened the box.
Inside, with more packing peanuts was a card, a photo album, and a new digital camera. He wanted to look at pictures first, but he restrained himself and opened the card.
Jin,
We’ve known each other
for years, but this is our first
Christmas together. Here’s a
photo album filled with our
memories so far, and a camera
to record our future.
Love Pi
He smiled at his boyfriend. Together, they looked through the photos, starting from when they were juniors together, to their first date.
On the last page before the empty ones started, there was something written. Jin leaned closer to be able to read it.

Owari~!
A/N: So the story behind this fic started this summer when my room mate randomly told me one night, that all she wanted was for me to write a fic for her that would make her smile this Christmas. I thought she also specified that it be a 'Pin' fic, but apparently, she said 'Pi'... I could've put him with someone else. Oh well.
So on my flight from Hawaii, back to Seattle, I wrote out the song... Which means I've known what was going to happen each of the 12 days since summer... well. Except day 6. All I knew was that I needed it to be about KAT-TUN, but I couldn't figure out how to fit it in the song. Laruku05 helped me on that one the day before it needed to be posted. Anyway. I now know that I should never procrastinate this kind of thing again, thinking that I would actually write one chapter a day, on the day it was supposed to be posted. ^^; I'm a procrastinator. What can I say?
Anywho~ Merry Christmas everyone~!
