Qatar row: Economic impact threatens food, flights and football

Iran must be very happy about this. Qatar has been a major thorn in their ass, geopolitically. Really, any rifts between the Gulf states is welcome news for Iran. Especially ( Read more... )

Whoever thinks such a development was possible only in a world where Trump is the president of the US, they must have a rather short attention span. In fact Qatar was a problem during Obama's 8 years too. It's not like this is the first time when the Gulf countries have blocked Qatar for the same or similar reasons, either.

In 2009, John Kerry said this:
“Qatar can’t continue to be an American ally on Monday that sends money to Hamas on Tuesday.”

The odd thing is the Qataris have backed Hamas, not the PLO which is aligned with Iran. Hamas is somewhat aligned with Saudi. Most Saudi royals of the caliphate jihadist kind support Hamas, and ISIS which is obviously ok. But Hamas is not.

Pot, kettle, kettle, pot. Pleased to meet you.

All of them, obvs. They are all in it up to the neck. And this deflection is just that: a smokescreen to cover their own arses from their own funding of terrorism.

Which is beginning to make we wonder about how uncle Vlad is funding all of this? If this is indicative of his reach, one wonders about his budget: how the fuck is he paying for all of this? I mean even with sweatshop labour doing the coding...

Of course, Putin is to blame for everything that goes wrong in the world. From Beyonce's latest album being shit to crop circles not being exactly round.
