SPN Friday Five, Week 40
1. The boys have always had an unconventional childhood, but what do you think other hunters experienced growing up? How do you think some of the younger hunters like Jo and Ash got along with regular children when they were younger?
Probably pretty poorly, I'd imagine. We know Jo's dad was a hunter, hence why she and Ellen are into it, but I can't necessarily see her wearing a dress and brushing her hair pretty and stuff like that. Ash was probably a Zeppelin lovin', mullet wearin', grade A certified nerd.
2. If you had to ship one slash pairing other than Wincest, what would it be?
I got all excited because I thought this was asking about just in general and I was about to go "JARED/CHAD, AND FUCK YOU IF YOU DON'T GODDAMN LIKE IT." But I don't think that's what you mean. So I'll say Ash/Sam, just because that's so terribly amusing and I'm tired enough to be in that kind of mood.
3. Suppose you have the opportunity to write one email to Sam and Dean. What would you say?
I'd tell them to come to New England (up further past Connecticut, please) and thank them for doing what they do, because that job is motherfuckin' tough.
4. If you had to choose for either Sam to never turn evil or for Dean to live, which would you choose?
I'm probably a giant bitch, because my first thought (and still is) was Sam never turning evil. Dean's jumped death twice now. En route to number three. The inevitable is coming, honestly.
5. What kind of student do you imagine Dean was when he was in high school, grade-wise and attitude-wise? Did he slack off and not do his work? Did he do well in everything effortlessly? Was he a straight-A student?
Dean was such a shitty student. I have the feeling he never graduated high school. He and John were probably always on the road and he was probably always trying to look up skirts instead of study. So who knows.
