So in lieu of going out tonite with some girls from work, I stayed in and watched Jesus Camp on A&E.

yea i watched some of this at like 2 AM the other night.
the most frustrating part for me is how they want to put "jesus back in the schools". but if they want jesus in schools i think the government should then be in the churches and allowed to regulate them, choose how many there should be.. etc.
also the kid preaching about satan scared me.
hell i didn't even know what an abortion was until i was like 15 or 16

I remember being 11 when I found out what an abortion was, and it was because my mom was forced to explain it to me after I'd been handed a pamphlet with stories about hell and murder and pictures of dead baby parts in vats. Yeah, I got that at the freaking mall. Great thing to give a kid.

at my school there are always people with giant posters of dead babies "protesting" and whatnot.

I totally relate with your frustrations. Recently I've decided not to consider myself a Christian, but simply a person who believes in God and all of that. It's a way for me to sort of disconnect to the corrupt part of church, while not denying my beliefs.

Deliver Us From Evil is just as disgusting to watch.

Hahah, I was watching it the other night and my dad (a good church every Sunday Catholic) was getting freaked out by it and actually told me to change the channel. We compromised and watched Fargo.

Just ignore the wackos (except for laughing purposes) and do what feels right to you. It's not about public perception it's about stuff helping you.
