"is excellent for indigestion,
Pain after eating,
Biliousness, Languor, Headaches, Acidity;
Because it assists the orgains of digestion

I know the theatrical agent scene is mostly just DLS indulging herself, but I still enjoy it. It is so OTT silly. And I always love Harriet time-wasting instead of writing because her sub-conscious is busy thinking about Peter.

I also have to put in a word for Bunter's letter to Peter, which I adore, particularly the way that - unlike Parker's - it is clearly intended to be able to be read by Harriet, with "respectful compliments", and puts in the stuff about Peter's deplorable domestic habits.

I never thought about it as intended for Harriet! that letter is suddenly far more interesting.
