I bought a bubble pipe and carried it around instead of a cigarette.
I also safety-pinned a nasty cigarette butt to my jacket.

I managed to stay quit until three people close to me died in a six week span, at which point I started again.

Also, nice fucking comic. :)

Also also, you can do it.
Are you on meds for the Tourette's? Did I even know that you have it?

yeah man, you knew. we chatted about it briefly when I was first diagnosed about a year ago.
I'm on Risperidone for my ticks, which is working surprisingly well. Also, I occasionally take Ativan for the anxiety. Quitting smoking definitely makes the ticks a bit more frequent, but not altogether intolerable.

Great start!

I get motion sick like nobody's business, and I've found that Bonine is the best stuff out there right now. Have you tried it?

I have not tried it - usually I just go with Gravol - but perhaps I'll give it a try.

Bonine is awesome because it doesn't make you drowsy.

If anyone doesn't get motion sickness I sure envy them... Car rides are boring. Hey, maybe you should bring some sleeping pills and sleep the the whole ride through? I never took any myslef so I can't recommend it or anything.. but maybe?

Well, my doctor gave me some Ativan for my Tourrette's, so I ended up just taking a few of those and passing out for most of the trip. Worked out well!

You ought to invest in some books on tape. It's like reading, only lazier.
