[Jack, having finished his first long nap, has come out onto the roof to have a smoke and take the air. He would appear to have just woken up, as his hair is sticking up along one side of his head, and there are red marks on his cheek from his pillow. He takes a deep breath, rolls his shoulders, and--spots Angel.
The fact that she has wings is the furthest thing from his mind. All he sees is a little girl, sleeping very near the edge of a roof. Without hesitation, he kneels beside her and begins to pull her carefully into his arms, with the intention of carrying her somewhere a little safer.]
Angel, honey, that's dangerous. [His voice is a low murmur, still a little blurred from sleep.]

Then, after a very violent moment - and birdkids are strong, so it might hurt despite sleepiness and disadvantagous situation- the voice registers and she stops, catching her breath, trying to process the situation.

[Having had experience with his own girls, he manages not to let go, but also not to latch on too tightly; however, that is going to bruise, and he wrinkles his nose against the pain. He shifts the bulk of his body to get between her and the edge of the roof.]
