Rules verses common sense

A Common sense is sidelined against rules, ending up unwanted effort. A rule has it's own life time. A rule is born, grown, matured and always with time it grows old to become feeble and weak. Considering the metrics, a rule should evolve, and the task would be to groom it and keep it young. Intention of rule is always forgotten, in general.  ( Read more... )

Interesting analogy! Me thinks:

Common Sense = petition for a new law
Rule = Law
