Good to hear from you, I haven't read the last chapter yet, too much family around during the holiday, etc, etc. I'm glad you're keeping it up. This is a good story, people have to move on in their lives. Those BBM fans who don't think so are living in a dream world. We can't forget about what we have gone thru but, we can learn to live with it.
I'm doing OK for an old guy, (79 next month) My life could have been entirely different under different circumstances. Not complaining or wishing, just acknowledging the facts of who and what I am and how I grew up.

Yes, it's true we can't forget what we've gone through and the mistakes we've made, with everything so clear at the time but looking very different after years have passed. Maybe learning to live with the choices we make in this lifetime is part of the later decades of life (which I'm also in). How we deal with it determines in a large part what kind of people we are in the end.
what, you mean "Moving On Ennis" is getting to be acceptable? Who knew? You notice who's still posting links on Wranglers now that the fandom has cooled. We've finally outnumbered them.
I read through your story today and really enjoyed what you've written so far. Your characterization of Ennis seems like one of the closest I've seen to canon.
