The knock was a quick, perfunctory one. The door was already being pushed ajar as Ennis pulled it open and the woman on the other side stumbled after it into the kitchen. Well, welcome back. Glad to see this new chapter, continuing Ennis' growth after Jack died. Like how he has moved slowly, but with Jack's help has taken a chance, has moved away from those memory-filled spaces, so he can figure things out. Think I'm going to like Maggie, and not just because she has the Sight. Will be trying to figure out who Jack's friend 'up there' is, too.

Thanks again.

And David will take a more active role in the following chapters than just leaving for work and getting back! It just felt right to let Ennis feel his way around the environment first.

I had forgottten this fic even though I loved it! Now it won't happen anymore because I tracked it. And through the link to Bettermost I've found out who you are (I didn't notice it before)!
I wanted to express my admiration for the skill you are using letting the plot developing. It is very realistic that Ennis changes so slowly. I also like the supernatural part of the fic, it fits in the plot.
I appreciated all the infos and the pictures, I like to see how you imagine the house, the surroundings and the people. Could you maybe find a pic of Maggie?
Thank you for writing!
Antonella
