I've been crying my eyes out here while I was reading the whole story for the first time this evening. Your writing is stunningly precious and your story damn moving. Now I'm gonna dream with this for sure.

"You ain’t tellin me ta forget about you then, Jack?"

Jack laughed then, leaned over and kissed him one more time. "No way that’s gonna happen, cowboy. If you could’ve, you woulda done that 20 years ago."

Thanks for everything.

Your story is head and shoulders above every other single BBM fan fiction work I've read, and the ONLY story about Ennis moving on that I've found worthy of reading. Everything else is either too naive, too hurried, too forced, too painful for me... Your storytelling is mesmerizing and that's an understatement. Please never stop. I wake up every morning hungry for a glimpse at Ennis's new day and I will until I die; your chapters are the only thing that give me that. It's also helped incredibly with my ache over Heath Ledger's untimely passing and Jack Twist's heartbreaking murder. I hope we get to see more of Jack as your story unfolds. I miss him so much although like many I'm Ennis's girl. If you decide there's no more Jack though, I can tell you this: After being skeptical about David's introduction and everything related to Ennis moving on, I now know better. I trust your take hundred percent -- I find myself thinking "she knows what's best for Ennis." It hurt a little at first to imagine somebody out there knows Ennis better ( ... )
