Take Off Our Socks

On playing Couplet Consequences ~ a fun thing.

See felflowne, ozzy_ferry and tenorkev for our other efforts. This one started by myself:

This evening I went to play on the swings,
They are, in truth, the most wonderful things.

I would have gone with a friend,
but they all drive me far round the bend.

I'm not sure quite where I was going,
so i'll carry on, still not knowing.

This always seems to happen to me,
to a greater or lesser degree.

Perhaps it'll stop all by itself,
Or be forced into submission by a warlike elf.

Regardless to say it's not over yet,
there's still no need to call up the vet.

We're gonna head on up the road,
looks like last night it snowed

weird, it is summer after all
I suspect this is a passing squall.

Soon we can play on the beach,
take off our socks and read a little Nietzche.

Watch the sun drop down behind the bay,
Drawing to a close another day.

And soon the moon will be in the sky,
And nobody will wonder why

Cause that's the way it's always been
and all because of my addiction to caffeine.

Word.
