I bet they're only doing it so they can remake it in 3D.

I don't think I'd mind as much if it went back to the Phillip K Dick story and built a new movie from that foundation. Not that I didn't like the original, but it might seem less . . . unoriginal (?) if it wasn't a copy of a copy.

Just like I'm fairly certain 15 or 20 years from now we'll probably see a remake of I am Legend, based on the Will Smith movie instead of the original story.

Get off my lawn. (Yeah, I started to feel like I was sounding that way . . . ;)

I have no idea where they're going with the movie. I've never read the book, but grew up with the Arnie film. Watched it again just before Christmas. Love it.

I'd love to see a new sci fi movie. Y'know. An original one.
