You could make a lot of money, taking exactly what you just wrote here- and teaching a class. It applies to anyone who is relationship-bound: straight, gay, or whatever.

I know the word is out still on whether or not this will be a long lasting relationship for you, but it sounds like you are certainly on the right track. Hardly anyone ever learns from their missteps. It sounds like you've made a conscious effort to do things differently this time.

You give me too much credit. I'm rather doubtful that I've learned from my mistakes; I'm just not making them yet. When I do, hopefully we'll be solid enough to ride it out.

I really don't want to spork this one up, though. I'd really like Anni to stick around for a while (and so would my dog).
