Where did the time go!

Seem to have lost a lot of my life strangely from playing this. http://deathball.net/notpron/It's like the Stone but really it makes you think a lot more. I mean the stone doesn't require you to mess about with image programs or key mappings ( Read more... )

Cool, a new puzzle game, thanks :)

I still have loads of puzzles to do on the Stone, but either I know how to do them but need to get a person who's finished them to check (which annoys me, Gates and Giants specifically here), or I just can't get started at all.

And I did use image programs with The Stone... So far it's made me think more, though admittedly I played it for months on end, whereas I've just done five levels of notpron and I'm taking a break after ten minutes. I'll get back to you in a month :)

Have a look at timehunt.com if you want another fun puzzle game... Try and not use cheat forums, it's possible without... So far we've only used them once.

Heh I did love the stone but lots of the puzzles where driving me bonkers. Once i started over complicating them in my mind was when I stopped playing.
Actually it's not so much that I'm learning more with notpron it's a different type of learning. I do know a fantastic amount about wierd places and history thanks to the Stone.

Notpron has several of those puzzles where the answer is blindingly obvious it's just how it translates into the next part that is annoying. There are almost always clues in the source code.

Playing it at 3 in the morning wasn't a good idea though lol. But I got stuck for ages on one puzzle and it started driving me insane to the point where I had to sit and finish it. Of course then the next one was even more intriguing.

Good luck

The Stone got distinctly less cool with the later puzzles, and it changed management or something too... And yes, the puzzles got quite annoying at points. At least you had multiple ones you could be working on at once though.

On puzzle 7 for notpron now. Clues in the source code suck :P I'm supposed to find out what brand of "candy" is shown in the image? I feel this is going to be a bitch for cultural reasons.

And argh, it's too easy to find answers by doing essential searches for information - a big problem with internet puzzles that want you to search for things.

Yeah that took me a little while. But rest assured we have them here....think less "candy" and more "bar" The clue is in the picture.

Once you realise what it is you can get it really quick from the other clue in the source code.

Well it's not so much clues in the source code more like the information you require to do the puzzle. Most of it is necessary to solve the password. Many of the puzzles have the answer in the source the puzzle is to find it.

I'm still stuck on 16 :( got so far and now I'm kind of lost.
