James Lester woke up in a cold sweat.
It was hardly surprising he had nightmares. The mission the day before had nearly been a disaster.
Only the massive attempts at intimidation by himself and a dozen mean-looking soldiers waving rifles and carrying out illegal actions such as confiscating studio equipment, arresting a handful stubborn members of audience and cast and the application of a new hallucinogenic gas, had prevented the worst.
Connor Temple hopping around like a maniac leprechaun in the studio and making faces in front of the cameras hadn't been very helpful either.
Usually Sir James wasn't a supporter of brute force and of course he would never admit it to Becker but he'd actually been glad when the Captain had got so fed up with Temple's antics that he had knocked him out with a gun.
Now the camera recording had been destroyed and the studio was closed off until further notice despite the Anomaly having vanished again.
'Lord help us, if that obnoxious presenter and his products ever finds a way back into the present,' James Lester thought and closed his eyes wearily.
When he drifted back into sleep his subconsciousness showed him the horror which could still wait in the future...
