The woman in the large rumpled bed regained consciousness and looked in shock at the man next to her.
"Oh my god," she whispered and pulled the blanket over her naked breasts.
A tousled head emerged at the foot of the bed and stared up to her, a heavy curse on his lips.
"I second this," a third voice rang through the room and two pairs of eyes focused on the other occupant, who looked rather sheepish instead of his normally so commanding demeanour.
After some seconds of awkward silence, the woman snuggled back onto the warm pillow and crossed her arms over her head with a wicked smile.
"Because I seem to be in the minority here and therefore will have to do most of the work to make you both happy later I want breakfast in bed first.
Coffee, black, with buttered toast and some marmalade will do for a start."
The woman let her tongue slide in a sultry fashion over her upper lip and the two men watched her, mesmerised.
"And I like to suck.... on a slice of apple," she added with a wink and grinned when the men scrambled hastily out of the bed to fulfill her wish.
Rex watched curiously as the older, slight, familiar man hopped around on one leg after he'd stubbed his toe on the leather-bound book Sid had gnawed on with his usual appetite before the guy followed Connor into the kitchen of the extravagant apartment hurriedly.
It seemed it was feeding time for Abby.
