Helen clinked glasses with her friends and looked happily over to Nick. She would wear the name Cutter with pride.
Just then her tipsy cousin Janet tripped and spilled her glass all over the newlywed husband.
Helen shared an amused look with Nick. Why couldn't something go according to plan once in a while?
Suddenly the sight in front of her changed and smoke was everywhere.
After she'd blinked the image was gone again. But Helen could still feel the heat and shivers ran down her spine.
For a moment the red stain on Nick's chest had looked like blood.
