They sat sweating on a tree. After running two miles and then climbing up a tree you couldn't keep your cool.
Fortunately the creature could not climb up a tree by itself and Stephen and the military were already on the way to rescue them.
She had lost her shoes on the move and the tanktop she was wearing today did nothing to warm her up. Shivering, Abby tried not to loose her balance by hugging her arms around her cold upper body.
Nick watched her and pulled off his sweatshirt. It smelled of sweat but would keep her warm.
Gratefully, Abby slipped the sweatshirt over her head. She inhaled the musky smell of his sweat and closed her eyes in contentment.
"Nick what are you doing there?"
"Isn' t it obvious? I'm trying to relax you. A massage always helps you to wind down."
"I have nothing against a nice massage. I go to a professional masseur myself every once in a while. But you're currently sucking on my big toe. That's not something I've ever got in a normal massage program."
Nick Cutter, looking guilty, stopped what he was doing and let the big toe slip out of his mouth.
Abby watched him with a glint in her eyes.
"Nick. I think you've forgotten something." Abby wiggled her right foot and hold it towards Cutter."I have got another one."
Nick Cutter grinned and after pulling of her sock he sucked her other big toe into his mouth with relish.
