Sarah watched from her hideout behind a tree as the warriors took up position. The battle would begin at any moment.
She didn't regret having ended up in this time period nor did she feel guilty for faking her death.
She only regretted that she hadn't told Becker of her plans to disregard orders and continue the search for her friends.
Accompanied by the noises of the Battle of Hastings, Sarah slipped through the glittering shards, curious where this anomaly would lead her.
Even if she never succeeded in her endeavour, witnessing historical moments like that was worth every sacrifice.
