My favorite video this year (of my own): "Bionic" has to be the one. This was my very first Sweet Charity auction and
charmax gave me a good one. She gave me a great, fun song and a kick ass concept, then let me run free.
Most successful video: Based on the amount of feedback, it would be "Bionic". Based on critical feedback, it would be "Sunday Bloody Sunday". Based on downloads, it would be "Vertigo", thanks in large part to
thefourthvine's rec.
Video most under appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Based on the download to feedback ratio, I would have to say "What I've Done".
Most fun video to make: "Bionic" was the most fun by far. What wouldn't be fun about making a vid featuring kick-ass females?
Hardest video to make: I'm gonna say "Sunday Bloody Sunday", mostly because of the song. I don't mean the beat or even the lyrics, but more the actual history of the song. I think it takes a show like BSG, that is so politically, morally and spiritually intensive to make such a song work.
The things I've learned this year: I can frak up an aspect ratio like nobody's business. Movement from scene to scene can be used to great affect. I can use After Affects(kinda) thanks to Andrew Kramer and
Video Copilot.
Vid projects I definitely want to get finished this year: I have nothing planned. I still have that Laura Roslin crackvid in residence on the back brain, but it'd be more work than a crackvid should ever be and it's really, really cracky. Really.
