Yeay! You made it there safely and lookie... you're enjoying yourself!

Don't dwell on the past, love. Live completely in the present... feel that sun, taste that food, and soak it ALL in. This is YOUR time, Tally. (Remember what I said about having a fling...hehehe...)

I'm so proud of you for following through on this. You rode out the panic and did what you set your mind to, which should be empowering. You can forever look at this trip and say, "yanno... the world didn't end like I thought it would and it won't this time, either," to future challenges and opportunities.

Oh, I had such a panic attack on the first day, you have no idea. :O I hadn't slept at all and got heat exhaustion and got sick (like throwing up sick), so we ended the day early and they dropped me off at the house and I tried to sleep it off. woke up in the dark by myself in an empty house in a foreign country and completely flipped out.

but it's okay now. I'm having a good time and the irrational panic phase seems to have been trumped by the fact that nothing bad happened. ^_^;;

Thank you, and I hope things are going okay on your end. I miss talking with you! I wish I had more internets XD

Even though you're not getting paid, that is like...the BEST unpaid internship EVAH!! I'm really proud of you for taking control of the situation and applying.

I miss you guys too! I wish I had more internet, it's getting really hard to keep in touch with people. (I'm totally off the grid!).

Thanks; I know it might not get me anywhere in life but I'm having a good time and I'm doing something, and that's what I needed right now. :) Hope things are going well on your end!!!

Honestly, I don't think you made a mistake letting that one pass. It was extremely remote, a dreary time of year, and you would have been without transportation, internet and company for a long time.

I'm so happy YOU'RE happy! Can't wait to hear all about your adventures! (Nobody and I started a comm for just this sort of thing, in case you're interested.)

I get really bad mosquito bites, especially when I'm in Taiwan (hot, humid, mosquito paradise all year round --- you should see my hand when I'm at a park -- it looks like I have tiny black freckles all over ( ... )
