Wow, a Liberal Democrat that Tells it like it is

Wow, I am truly impressed by this article I came across by a woman named Camille Paglia, who is obviously a Liberal Democrat and self-proclaimed Atheist.She's not a far Left personality though. Much of what she wrote when she opined on many issues I agree with. There are some parts I disagree with but most of what she said I see as telling it like

I first learned of Paglia about 10 years ago from Rush Limbaugh, who likes to quote her.

Yeh? I cross-posted this in the Liberal and Conservative communities, and I comments like. She doesnt represent my views from one liberal and she does a good job of making the GOP look good. I'm sorry but some of the things the Democrats do make the GOP look good, it's like irrational versus the rational. She points out where I differe with the GOP party leadership in Washington, so to say Im some kind of gutless partisan is wack. I can point out my own party's faults and failures and the faults and failures of the party leaders. I think this is what Paglia does is point out the faults and failures of her own party. I dont often take the time to bitch and complain about my party because I feel it accomplishes nothing. I dont want to encourage people to vote for something worse than bad.

I agree with a lot of what she said, but sometimes she just came off as pretentious and negative as those "Northeastern Democrats" that she talked so badly of.

well I think she was refering to how people like Ted Kennedy and John Kerry view the american public in general.....
