if you're getting getting bitten by a mosquito, scratching won't do any good. you've got to resolve the issue at the source -- by smashing the damned mosquito.

reporting to LJ abuse won't do anything -- he can easily create a new account.

instead, report his behavior to his ISP. I traced it and asked them what the official way to report harassment is. apparently, it's as simple as an email. so i'm sending off my complaints to abuse@buckeye-express.com (for the below user; its possible that you have a different one), and including a screen shot/link.

the person who posted in my LJ had the IP address of 63.166.37.55. take that, plug it into nwtools network lookup:

and you get the ISP.
