First two days of college

I'm dead tired, so if I misspell something or make a mistake, deal ;p

Sounds like a blast :) I went to a commuter college so I missed out on dorm life!

I think you'll like the Nazarene church - we'd gone to one service, somewhat up north from where I live because we'd gone to a special event they were having. Good people, interesting service. Or at least, I thought. :)

As to life at a Christian college, I can relate. I'm going to school in TX, which is HUGE on the church thing. The annoying thing is - this is a state school, but there is a huge religious presence on campus. We don't have mandatory chapel or anything, but people are always talking about church and religion stuff. Which I normally don't take issue with - but it's getting irritating. My roommate keeps saying I should go to church, when I've already told her I don't (It's a long story why - ask me sometime...) But I guess it's allowed because of the whole freedom of speech/religion thing. That's all fine and dandy, just don't shove it down MY throat, thanks. And to top it all off, my roommmate is 18, and I'm 24, an ok match, but she doesn't understand me because I'm so much older....*shakes head* Sorry for ranting off in your LJ, Talon ;)

Lol, it's fine! I can relate....I am religious, but I try to never shove it down people's throats. I hated it before I became a Christian myself ;p
