I just about killed myself laughing at those observations.
I have two words for you "Awwww Muffin."
I will admit according to my folks that the winter has been a bit nastier then usual out there. But really at least you can dress for the weather, the summers are not nearly as wickedly muggy as they are out here and for crying out loud, suck it up city boy. ^_~
Edmonton is probably as weird for you as Toronto was for me when I first moved out here. It just takes a bit of getting used to. No place can ever compare to the city you grew up in, however, I promise that once you learn the in's and out's and find a few hidden gems you may even start to like Edmonton.
BTW I should warn you assless chap will likely get you beat up in Alberta. We can be a bunch of red-necked hicks at times.
