Thank you for remind us, sweetie.
I just saw now a documentary in TV about the recycling of the pc's and unfortunately people here are not much aware of this

It's the same here, honey. National Geographic channel is showing and environmental documentaries all day. I wish I can stay home and watch them. :D

Here in Belgium most supermarkets don't put the groceries in plastic bags anymore, you can't even find them anymore, or you must pay a small amount of money for them. It encourages people to bring their own re-usable bags, and I have a few of them and use them everytime I go shopping. I always take a bag-pack when I go shopping for clothes or whatever, and I ask the salesman/woman not to put my clothes or cd's or anything else in a bag because I brought my back pack and I can just put it in there.

Almost no one has A/C here 'cause the climate just isn't that hot. ;)

We have seperate bags for recycling paper/cans/organic peels and whatever, so I try to separate my waste as much as possible according to these things. Unfortunately I can't do composting 'cause I don't have a garden, but I will never throw paper in the normal wastebin and things like that. ;) I will also never throw waste on the public road as I see many people do. :( It's also not much, but a start.

All the things you're doing are great, hun. Here, not only that every supermarkets are still using plastic bag they kindly separate all the items into separate bags just for the heck of it, I think. *snort* I mean for example washing detergent bottle would go to one bag and my chocolate bar would go to another. I used to fight with a cashier about this and it's not pretty. :(

Your country is environmental friendly which is awesome. I wish we can do the same here.

Thank you for your reply, honey. :)

Please do. And you can start at an easy thing like use less plastic or turn off the lights that not necessary.

Thank you for helping and for sharing your thoughts here.

*hugs* :D

I also don't often use plastic bags. And when I use them I do it way more than once. Besides that... I'm not sure if I do much to protect environment. Well, I never litter the street or the nature (I can't stand people who do so! Especially the latter... it's a shame when people left their garbage in the nature) and I don't have a car which is also a little ecology-minded, isn't it? I go everywhere by foot, train or bus :D
Anyway that's it I guess...

*re-hugs tight* :)

Thank so much, honey for sharing your thoughts with me here. I know this is a heavy topic post but I think I should do something. :)

You naughty girl! Posted Comment during work. *grin*

I go everywhere by foot, train or bus :D

I would love to walk too if it's not so damn hot here.

I know it's an excuse to almost everything here. Someone could come to work so late and when one was asked "Why are you so late?" One could say "Cause it's so damn hot today". XD

Please note that "one" is not "me". LOL

*massive hugs* :D

Well, you know I'm usually a good girl *puts angel face on* :) ... but sometimes I'm a bad girl as well ^^

Cause it's so damn hot today".
Well, if it's really very hot I can relate to it. My body doesn't like enormous heat and my apartment is like an oven during summer...

*BIG re-hugs* :D
