I tried it once but left it unattended on the stove too long and it got burnt. The unburnt parts were really yummy though. It was ass trying to clean the burnt sugar off the pot.

Aww that's a shame it got burnt. Cleaning sugar is truly an ass. So is burning yourself trying to clean it while it's hot... Next time I have to clean sugar I'm letting it boil with some water or something.
