Shasta arrives
In the sound room:
Chrysty: Dude....Laurel just literally freaked out in my head and disappeared:: o.o
Tam: o.o?
Chrysty: o.o
Tam: meeep!
Chrysty: ::Blinks:: I have NO idea where he went.
Tam: ;_;
Tam: ~wibble~
Chrysty: ::Worries::
Tam: ~nods~
Chrysty: Where's Julian?
Tam: Um...
Chrysty: Was he with him? ::Looks for clues:: o.o
Tam: Julian is in the shower...
Chrysty: Hmmm
Tam: yeah...I don't know. He wasn't worried about anything, 'till I poked him. ~watches him rush to get out of the shower~
Chrysty: x.x
Tam: ~sigh~
Chrysty: That was so weird..
Tam: ~nods, nods~ ~worries~ ~paces~
Meanwhile, the characters didn't know what was going on either:
Morrow: So...well...shall we go outside? ~smiles~
Cobalt: Yes! ::Heads for the door, smiling::
Wintermoon: ::Grins a little and nods, walking over and opening the door for everyone::
Julian: ~hurries downstairs, buttoning his shirt, hair still wet, looking around~
Wintermoon: ::Looks over, concerned:: ....??
Julian: ~waves, then glances into the kitchen quickly...and starts looking in all the other rooms~
Wintermoon: ::Watches him:: is something wrong?
Morrow: ~blink, blink~
Julian: Have you seen Laurel? Has he been down here at all?
Cobalt: ::Pauses and starts looking concerned too::
Wintermoon: No... ::Frowns:: Why?
Julian: ~pause, pause, takes a deep breath~ It's probably nothing....
Wintermoon: ::Sighs:: Is he missing...?
Julian: ~nods~
Malik: ::Appears, looking curious::
Wintermoon: -_-
Morrow: ~just leans back against the wall, also looking curious, arms crossed over his chest~
Julian: Well...I was taking a quick shower and we were going to...spend time together when I got out...but Tam poked me and asked me where he was... and...
Malik: And no one knows where he is...? ::Eyes Chrysty::
Chrysty: ::Shrugs:: o.o Hey, he just freaked in my head and disappeared, that's all I know.
Julian: ~finishes buttoning his shirt, biting his lower lip~
Malik: ::Sighs, looking frustrated and a little concerned::
Morrow: That's all anyone knows then? Any other muses that might know?
Chrysty: ::Shakes head:: Not on my side...
Malik: I caught the vibe...that was about it. So I came to see...
Morrow: ~nods~
Tam: well...Raye, Lian and Rigel are a bit anxious, but I told them to just calm down and please not swamp me with questions...
Chrysty: ::Nods::
Wintermoon: ::Shuts the door he's been holding:: Hmm...
Julian: ~walks toward the couch, pauses and realizes he doesn't really want to sit down, then winds up just pacing around the room~
Malik: ::Walks over and sits down, taking in the fact that he's not going to find and answers right at the second::
Morrow: ~softly~ What *could* have gone so wrong that he'd up and disappear like that?
Malik: Gates are safe...I already checked those...
Morrow: The rest of the family?
Chrysty: ::Peeks:: Safe on my side...
Tam: ~nods~ Fine here...
Morrow: That leaves Marillan...he's in safe hands though, right?
Chrysty: ::Nods::
Chrysty: He has Dessy nearby, so...
Morrow: Good. What does that leave us?
Malik: The beginning again?
Julian: Pretty much, yes. ~continues pacing~
Wintermoon: ::Sighs a bit and goes to sit down too::
Morrow: ~sits down next to Wintermoon~ Julian...please? You're making me tired, just watching you.
Cobalt: ::Watches, then silently walks over and sits down too::
Julian: ~stops and pulls out a cigarette, grabbing an ashtray and then leaning against the back of a chair~
Wintermoon: ::Watches, then pulls out his own cigarettes offering one to Morrow:: ?
Morrow: ~shakes his head~ Thank you, but no.
Wintermoon: ::Nods and lights one::
Jalireth: ~appears in his chair~
Morrow: ~quietly~ Good morning, Starshine...
Chrysty: ::Giggles::
Julian: When did you start listening to 60s music?
Morrow: ~blink~ ?
Wintermoon: We don't. We just like Willy Wonka.
Julian: ...oh.... ~blink~
Jalireth: Really, Julian, you need to get out more...
Cobalt: ::Grins::
Malik: ::Lights a cigarette, setting it in the ashtray after a minute::
Julian: ... ~pout~ I've got a bit on my mind, sorry.
Wintermoon: ::Nods::
Jalireth: Oh...sorry...
Malik: ::Gets up and just starts walking around the room::
Jalireth: Are we waiting for something?
Julian: ~shrugs and puts his cigarette out~
Malik: Yeah, Laurelan's MIA, apparently... ::Lights another cigarette, forgetting about the one in the ashtray::
Jalireth: Oh, well, that can't be good...
Julian: Thank you, Mr. Obvious. ~sighs and starts pacing again~
Wintermoon: ::Quietly puts out Malik's first cigarette::
Jalireth: ...sorry... ~sits back and idly clears the smoke from the room~
Chrysty: ::paces with Julian::
Julian: ~pauses, then hugs you~
Chrysty: ::Huggles::
Morrow: ~pauses for a moment, then grins to himself and pulls Wintermoon onto his lap~
Wintermoon: o.o
Morrow: <3
Chrysty: Mew... ::Walks over and sits on Jalireth's lap::
Wintermoon: ::Grins:: ..<3
Jalireth: Hey. ~hugs~ What's up?
Chrysty: ::Whispers to him, quietly:: Help us...?
Jalireth: ~blinks, then nods~ Of course... What do you want me to do?
Chrysty: ::Uses super mun powers:: In about five minutes I think you'll get more answer to that than you ever wanted, Mr. Healer.
Jalireth: So...just be ready?
Chrysty: ::Nods:: And hold your stomach... ::Cringes and looks at Cobalt, trying to think of how to get him out of here::
Tam: ~pokes Morrow and gestures to the door~
Morrow: ~raises an eyebrow~ Well...who knows how long we could be waiting. Why don't we go outside like we'd planned? ~smiles brightly~
Malik: ::Looks at the muns with a twinge of suspicion::
Tam: ^_^
Wintermoon: ::Looks at Tam, then Morrow, then nods and gets up, smiling to Cobalt:: That sounds good to me.
Cobalt: ::Smiles:: Alright. ::Hops up and makes for the door::
Morrow: ~stands up and walks to the door~ It did look like quite a pleasant night out...let's enjoy it.
Cobalt: ::Follows out, happily:: <3
Wintermoon: ::Nods to the muns and everyone and follows out as well::
Morrow: ~closes the door behind them~
Malik: ::Picks up Laurel vibes as well and gets the idea:: Oh, fun....
Larken: ::Hovers in the closet doorway, blinking::
Raye: ~appears, shooting Tam a *look*~
Chrysty: Mew.... ::Paces::
Larken: ::Walks in, curiously, and sits down to wait::
Julian: ~looks around curiously~
Chrysty: ::Whispers to Julian:: Hold your nerves, love...
Julian: ~takes a deep breath, then nods~
Laurel: ::Appears right in the middle of the room and literally collapses on the floor with a mangled Shasta in his arms, practically panting::
Jalireth: ~moves forward immediately, kneeling next to both of them, forcing his mind to blank as he calls forth healing energy~
Larken: ::Jumps up and moves over, kneeling beside them as well and doing the same, being careful not to let his magic clash with Jalireth's::
Malik: ::Holds his breath and watches, staring and a bit wide-eyed::
Jalireth: ~glances at Larken~ Take care of the details? I'm only good yet at pushing through general healing energy... ~returns his full concentration to the matter at hand~
Laurel: ::All but keeps clinging to Shasta, eyes shut and trying to rush healing energy into him as well::
Larken: ::Nods, quickly, and starts focusing on healing specific injuries::
Julian: ~stares and whispers without realizing it~ He's still alive?
Malik: ::Nods, very slowly, still staring::
Laurel: ::Opens his eyes a little and just keeps brushing his fingertips over Shasta's cheek, whispering soft words::
Shasta: ~makes a small sound like a whimper, though it feels like he's screaming~
Jalireth: ~closes his eyes and just keeps concentrating~
Larken: ::Shivers, slightly, and whispers a few words to intensify his magic transferring::
Raye: ~finally manages to turn away, shivering, hair hanging in his face~
Laurel: ::Keeps holding Shasta, murmuring:: It's going to be alright...you're here...you're not alone now...
Malik: ::Looks at Raye, then walks over and just hugs him::
Shasta: ~opens his mouth and gasps a little, then starts going still~
Raye: ~clings to Malik~
Laurel: ::Stares at Shasta, his eyes welling up a little:: Just stay awake... ::Whispers:: Please...
Larken: ::Finally has a majority of the major surfaces wounds in order now and just looks at Shasta as he keeps healing, wondering what happened to him::
Julian: ~just keeps staring~
Larken: ::Looks at Shasta, seeing he's unconscious and lightly begins trailing his hands along his body, beginning to mend bones, mainly his ribcage first::
Jalireth: ~murmurs~ He'll live...but he's not going to want to move for a while.... ~sighs, a bit in relief~
Laurel: ::Slowly shuts his eyes and just clings to Shasta, whispering:: ...thank you...so much...
Malik: ::Lets out a quiet sigh of relief as well, still hugging Raye::
Larken: ::Nods:: I'm mending bones...but it'll take at least a day or two for them to be fully functional... ::Softly::
Raye: ~hides his face in Malik's shoulder, tears escaping from his extreme relief~
Jalireth: ~nods~ Endisa will be able to add healing energy tomorrow...probably by the time we're all exhausted... ~weak grin~
Malik: ::Looks over:: I can help too...when someone needs break...
Raye: ~nods and quickly dries his eyes~ Me too.
Larken: ::Softly:: It might be wise to move him to a bed now, while he's out and can't feel it...
Jalireth: ~nods~ We can take him to the room Lee was in...it's still got all kinds of bandages and stuff...
Larken: ::Makes a quick rush of healing magic, then stands up, slowly, feeling a little light-headed but ignoring it::
Kaed: ~opens the basement door, dripping and naked~ o.o
Fei: ::Tries to squirm into the room behind him, blinking and in the same stare::
Kaed: ~hurries over~ What can I do?
Tam: Help them move him? Levitate him so he doesn't get hurt worse?
Larken: ::Nods:: That would be perfect.... ::mostly thinking out loud::
Kaed: ~nods~ Of course. Move back, so I don't cause him more harm with accidental shifting.
Jalireth: ~frowns a little, then reluctantly moves aside~ I know where the room is...
Chrysty: ::Watches Laurel not move:: ::Blinks:: ::Bites lower lip and nudges Julian, gesturing to Laurel::
Julian: ~startles and then nods, walking over and putting a hand on Laurel's shoulder~ Come on...before he wakes up and this is even harder on him...
Laurel: ::Takes a deep breath, opening his eyes a little and looking at Shasta once more, then lets go, also very reluctantly, moving away a few inches, closer to Julian::
Kaed: ~nods and lifts Shasta into the air carefully, not jostling him at all~ Lead the way...
Jalireth: ~leads the way into the closet, taking them to the empty room Lee had been in, thankful that it is still set up~ Here...
(Everybody: ~follows~)
Larken: ::Immediately begins pulling the topsheets off so they don't have to later::
Kaed: ~lowers Shasta carefully onto the bed~
Jalireth: It's all the same except it's been cleaned...good...
Larken: Should we do this in shifts?
Jalireth: Good idea. That way no one is too tired at any given time...
Fei: ::Silently grabs some of the bandages and plays with them, enchanting them a little, then starts wrapping Shasta's arm with them while the others talk::
Tam: <3
Julian: How are you going to arrange the shifts? I can write down a schedule if you'd like?
Larken: ::Looks at Julian and nods:: That would be a good help, yes...
Fei: I'll do a few shifts. <3
Kaed: I'll take the first shift, if that is okay. I'm fresh, and he obviously needs more intensive healing...
Laurel: ::Leans on the doorway and watches, then glances down at himself and speaks softly:: I think...I'll go clean up...and then I'll be willing to do whatever shift you wish me to. Just let me know...
Shasta: ~takes a deeper breath and then starts coughing weakly, rolling onto his side and balling up~
Kaed: ~walks over immediately and starts healing him in earnest~
Malik: ::From beside Laurel in the doorway:: I can stick around even when someone else is here... You know, in case they want to take a break to go move around or something.
Julian: That's a good idea... ~writes it down~
Fei: ::Disappears for a moment::
Laurel: ::Nods:: I'll be back... ::Smiles to Julian, faintly, then disappears to go take a bath::
Jalireth: I'm going to go tell Ivory what's going on, and go rest for a while. Put me on the schedule for later...
Julian: ~nods and writes it down~
Raye: ~looks at the schedule and points~ I'll take my turn right about there...
Larken: ::Nods:: I...should probably go rest a little bit too... But just for about an hour or two, then I'll be fine. I need to go check on Palm too, since Soleil is elsewhere...
Fei: ::Reappears a moment later with some clean clothing, a bowl of warm water and some towel, starting to carefully wet the towels and clean Shasta up a bit::
Jalireth: ~disappears~
Larken: ::Nods to everyone and walks out of the room::
Julian: Who else?
Jake: ::Appears beside Julian, silently:: Me...
Julian: ~writes his name down, then gives him a hug~
Jake: ::Hugs him back, nuzzling a little, then looks over at Shasta::
Rigel: ~walks into the room, pausing immediately in the doorway and just staring~
Malik: ::Moves to give Rigel a hug::
Rigel: ~hugs tight and forces himself to close his eyes~ Is there anything I can do to help?
Fei: ::Quietly and -very- carefully begins undressing Shasta to put him into the clean and unburned/unripped clothing::
Malik: I'm just sort of hovering in case anyone needs a break...want to do the same for a while?
Kaed: ~hands Fei some scissors~ Just cut the clothes off...he won't be wearing those again...it'll be a bit easier...
Fei: ::Nods and takes them, doing so::
Rigel: Okay, that sounds good....
Shasta: ~shivers slightly and whispers~ ...cold...
Fei: It's ok... I'm just putting you in warmer clothing. It'll just be a minute. You'll feel better after this... ::Nods and carefully starts redressing him with a slight bit of magical aide::
Shasta: 'kay... ~flutters his eyelids a little, then shudders a bit~ ...can't see...
Fei: ::Looks at him, frowning a little, then just lightly strokes his cheek, whispering:: You need to heal... It's ok...
Shasta: ...hurts.... ~sobs a little and curls up again~
Kaed: I know...but I'm trying to heal damage more than deaden the pain. We'll be able to shift priorities probably in another hour, okay? You just have to hold on that long...
Shasta: ~shivers again~ Okay.
Jake: ::Walks up to Kaed:: Want some help so we can shorten that time a little...? ::Softly::
Kaed: ~looks at him for a moment, then nods with a soft smile~ Okay.
Jake: ::Gives a bit of a grin and then pulls a chair up to the side of the bed and starts focusing energies::
Malik: ::Conjures up two robes and carries them over, handing one to Kaed and one to Fei::
Kaed: ~blinks...then remembers he's naked and almost blushes~ Ah, thank you...
Malik: ::Nods:: You're welcome...
Fei: ::Whispers a thank you as well and pulls the robe on, just continuing to clean Shasta up with one of the warm towels::
Shasta: ~slowly rests a hand on Fei's hand and smiles a little bit~ ...thank you... ~relaxes again~
Fei: ::Blinks, then nods a little, smiling:: You're welcome... ::Whispers, then takes one of the blankets and pulls it up, lightly draping it over him::
Julian: ~tapes the schedule beside the door, looks around, then teleports upstairs~
