Casali: ~bites into Loram's neck and begins feeding, drinking deep and greedily~
Loram:: ~gasps at the pricks of pain, then nearly purrs at how sweet it is, giving in to him entirely as he feeds~
Casali: ~drinks until he has had his fill, then easily heals Loram and licks away the last of the blood~
Loram:: ~gives a slow, pleased grin when he pulls away and drawls a little thickly~ That's another reason... mmm.
Casali: Your blood is not as potent as Jalireth's, but it will do. ~sits back and smiles, relighting his pipe~

Casali: That makes her a better mother perhaps...but does it make her a better person? It's easy to try to be a good parent, no matter what, and take pride in that. It's harder still to admit you may not be the best person for your own child....

Casali: And that, dear child, is why I shall never have an actual child...only one vampiric one.

Casali: All of that. You see, I know I would make a terrible father...but if I abandoned the child under that premise, it would make me an even worse father, therefor I have made it impossible for vampires to reproduce.
