Paperlegends Rec #13
Yes, it's waaay later, but there's been all the signing up for paperlegends and it made want to read some paperlegends 2011 fics I didn't get to read yet. And here's a rec, Arthur/Merlin Modern AU :

He has his friends, his art and his mum, who has to juggle three jobs just to make ends meet. He also has Arthur, who brings with him a whole new heap of problems. Falling in love with your best friend is never easy; especially when you’re living in the deadbeat rundown Holly Street Estate in East London.
I've been completely stuck by this fic. I laughed, I smiled, I got tears up my eyes and at some point I even cried so much I couldn't read anymore. This fic is awesome cause it's real, cause life's a bitch but there can still be some hope, no matter how deep in you are. This story is amazing, and I'll keep it close to my heart to re-read when I need something beautiful.
