I'm not really superstitious. Not in the general way. But my back brain harbors superstitious notions, sometimes despite my logical sense. When I'm cooking, yes, I will throw a pinch of spilled salt over my left shoulder. I don't think about it consciously, it's just something that's part of the 'cleaning up salt' routine that I don't think

I'll give you a "gimme" easy third! I have a great red stripe on my neck from my goat climbing on me like I'm her personal jungle gym. Quite unsightly (especially working in retail), and utterly harmless.

There you go. Three. Nothing to see here, move along.

Seriously though, take care of yourself and your loved ones, and I hope that your dad and your MIL recover quickly.

The show is still in rehearsal. We perform first and second weekend of October.

From where I'm standing, it's looking like a fantastic show. I'm really enjoying myself and it all seems to be coming together quite nicely. Whether or not it reads as well from the audience, we'll see.

My latest three bad things fortunately had nothing to do with my directly, just happening in friends' lives. But when news of the third one hit within 8 hours of the first one, I had a similar "...and there's number three" reaction as well with that feeling of inevitability.
