I like this song a lot! And I really enjoyed the process of translating it too. In Filipino, マスカラ reminds me of "maskara" (mask), which is also pretty apporpriate for the context of the song, which is fun to think about. Yay! Enjoy!
Mascara
KANJI

ENGLISH
With an unpretentious smile
Give me your usual kiss
This second-rate love story is just right
If I had known it would just end,
I wish it wouldn't have started
I keep thinking twisted thoughts like this
I had already known
It changed completely
Still, this intimate scenery
I take it in, I take it in
My daily life has lost its taste
The sweetness and sourness you brought to it stay forgotten
Does becoming stronger
Make us more honest?
This perfect, transparent charade
Let's stop it already
Once this pillow has dried
From being damp with tears
Do you want to go out?
With your mascara off
Even meaningless actions
Leak through without resistance
That's the kind of recording we need
I've shown so many pitiful sides of me
But it's not something I can say I regret
I didn’t know
It never changed
Still, a happiness so commonplace
I take it in, I take it in
My daily life has become unsatisfying
The sweetness and sourness you brought to it stay forgotten
Does becoming stronger
Make us kinder?
Us and our transparent lies
All we did was fool around
Once these rains of sadness
Have been all drunk up
Do you want to go out?
Just the two of us, brought together by fate
Slashing through the fabric of this endless dream
Your eyes, looking straight at me
Pierce through my heart so painfully
I take it in, I take it all in
But still I don't feel full
I keep getting hit, getting hit
I stay soaked to the bone
Within our ordinary daily lives
We were never, never, never enough
Does becoming stronger
Allow us to forgive each other?
Our childish, transparent charades
Let's stop it already
Once this pillow has dried
From being damp with tears
Do you want to go out?
With your mascara off
"The two of us from back then"
Does becoming stronger
Make us kinder?
Us and our transparent lies
All we did was fool around
Once these rains of sadness
Have been all drunk up
Do you want to go out?
Just the two of us, brought together by fate
With an unpretentious smile
Give me your usual kiss
This second-rate love story is just right
If I had known it would just end,
I wish it wouldn't have started
I keep thinking twisted thoughts like this
NOTES
1. This might just be me reading into it but the way I interpret this song is that it's about the preference for regular old love stories and how special, overly dramatic ones are overrated and come with a lot of baggage. That's why they reference that kind of thing with having a usual kiss, unpretentious smile, no mascara (which we can take to mean no make up or no potential for it running all over your face when you cry), dried up tears on a pillow, rain being equated with dramatic scenes, etc. Like they'd rather have your boring ol' love story than have such an emotionally draining one and then just have it end anyway. Whew.
2. I'm going to check back with what exactly "kuraedo" means, but I'm fairly certain this is generally it. Maybe. It can mean things from enduring things and all that, but I'm taking my cue from the rap where it says he's never full and translating it not exactly as "eating" but as taking something in.
3. "Tsuyokunareta naraba" more literally means "if we became stronger," but to connect it more easily with the following line, I rephrased it a bit.
4. They never specify a "fabric" of a dream, but they're slashing through it in the bridge, so I figure I can get some poetic license in there.
