Jongin loves rainy days. It meant dark skies and cold weather; wet streets and the sound of rain hitting his windows. But he loved it even more cause it meant dim lights and cuddling under a huge blanket, drinking hot cocoa while watching chick flicks with Sehun. He loves Sehun, and he hopes he loves him the same way.
Sehun hates rainy days. It meant dark skies and cold weather. It meant loud rain, thunder, and insects clinging onto his windows. But he’s starting to love rainy days. It meant dim lights and cuddling under a huge blanket, drinking hot cocoa while watching chick flicks with Jongin. He loves Jongin and he hopes he loves him the same way.
Today was one of those rainy days - dark skies and cold weather, wet streets, and insects on the windows, but Jongin and Sehun were together. Jongin getting the huge blanket and DVD, and Sehun preparing the hot cocoa - it was a perfect rainy day for dim lights, cuddles, hot cocoa, and a movie.
They simultaneously arrive at the living room and smile at each other. Sehun was the first to walk to the couch and Jongin watched him from behind - he couldn't help but smile. Sehun sits and sees Jongin’s smile, he sticks his tongue out at him. "What are you smiling for?" He chuckles softly. "Get your butt over here." He says and Jongin laughs at this.
"So what movie are we watching?" Sehun asks with a child-like smile, as he cuddles under the blanket, and Jongin returns his smile. "America’s Sweethearts." He smiles as he hits the play button and Sehun nods, his eyes glued to the screen as it starts.
His concentration was soon diverted.
How could he concentrate with such a handsome man beside him?
Now Sehun wasn't one to make the first move, he never saw a reason why he should, but today he’s taking a risk. He’s been looking at Jongin’s side profile for a while now and he finally exhales before kissing his cheek. Still looking at him as he waits for a reaction. But nothing; no reaction whatsoever and he sighs, exasperated before looking back at the TV screen. He was 50% sure Jongin loved him back.
Jongin froze - he didn’t know how to react to Sehun’s kiss. But once he got his senses back, he plants a kiss on Sehun's lips, immediately pulling back with a blush and smile upon feeling Sehun’s sweet lips on his.
Sehun looks at him, eyes filled with tears of euphoria and he hugs Jongin, resting his head on his shoulder as he smiles ear to ear. He officially loves rainy days now.
