1) How is he claiming you have caused him 1 million dollars of damage? Medical? Car?
2) Isn't there a time limit on when you can file these things? If it's based on the grounds you caused him bodily harm then I'd tend to think it would have to be filed before three years, he could have developed injuries from something else!
