I am going to throw an analogy at you

LiveJournal has been, for me lately, like trips to the gym. Posting is something I want to do, something I never regret doing, and something I think about a lot. Sometimes I think about cancelling my gym membership and sometimes I think about deleting my journal. I do neither. I like having the option available to me, should I choose to exercise it ( Read more... )

DON'T DELETE IT. WHERE WILL I READ YOUR FIC? WHERE WILL I STALK YOU?

THAT PHOTOSHOOT IS EVERYTHING I WANTED, ONLY I DIDN'T KNOW I WANTED IT UNTIL I LOOKED AT IT. And I certainly didn't know I'd be so amused by that one picture with the red coat, where it looks like she's telling her children to quit fucking around in the yard and go wash up for dinner. I THINK IT IS THE HORMONES.

And man, don't remind me about things that have to do with time. I'll be 24 soon and I already feel like I wear failure like the devil wears Prada.

...Pretend it made sense.

OH MY GOD, MARY, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I WROTE FIC. I MISS WRITING FIC.

ISN'T IT. ISN'T IT?! That's exactly what that picture looks like, the fact that one of the locations is a playground does nothing to dispel that fantasy. God, I was most amused by a line where Demi was talking about the publicist she had around Miley's birthday when those cutting pictures first surfaced and the rep claimed they were from those jelly bracelets. Demi was like "I could've come up with something better than that; needless to say she's no longer with us." And then she's like "Oh, she's still alive." AS IF WE'D ALL JUMPED TO THE CONCLUSION THAT DEMI MURDERED HER FOR HER INCOMPETENCE.

I - I just don't understand why it is we have to grow up. Why is it unreasonable for me to want to sit around watching cartoons and reality TV in my pajamas while I eat fruit snacks and drink cheap wine. I don't think that is too much to ask.

No, dude. I get it. I am there with you.

I MISS YOUR FIC BREAKING MY HEART.

LOOK, SHE JUST MEANS SHE'S HAD SKELETONS IN HER CLOSET. AND MAYBE IT'S A METAPHOR, BUT MAYBE IT'S NOT. There's got to be some mystery in her life, still. I might even buy that Elle, if they print all those nice pictures.

I want cartoons and fruit snacks. I recently got Nickelodeon in HD, why can't that be the most relevant thing in my life? *pouts*

UGH, I MISS IT, TOO. Not the breaking your heart, but my having written the fic that does it. Or something. Also, hypothetically because I don't have the time to write even if I had the will, what would you want to read?!

HER PAST IS A DARK ONE, THERE'S NO DENYING THAT, BUT IT'S ALWAYS DARKEST BEFORE DAWN AND OTHER SUCH APPLICABLE CLICHES. I am not 100% on whether those photos/the interview is going in print or if it's exclusive to the site, but if there is a credible print magazine in which Demi is featured I will be buying the hell out if it.

WHAT. DO YOU MEAN I COULD BE WATCHING iCARLY AND SPONGBOB IN GLORIOUS 1080p?! Why isn't that the most relevant thing in your life, how could it not be.

YOUR NUMBER THREE IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL ONLY NOW I AM 25 AND THAT'S WAY OLDER THAN 22 SO I REALLY REALLY REALLY SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE BY NOW AND AAAAH WHAT IS HAPPENING HOW IS THIS WHAT BECAME OF ME.

And yeah basically my life is as boring as yours. I watch a lot of TV and that's IT. I don't even go to friend's houses. My roommate is my friend, that counts, right? Also my cat. (Except my roommate was out of town for basically the whole month of July, so for a while there it was just me going to work, coming home and watching Doctor Who. With my cat.)

IT S A HORRIBLE FEELING, I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT.

Omg, if I had a roommate and/or a cat I would just never leave my house. That is built-in entertainment right there. I miss my cat! So, Dr. Who is on Instant Netflix which I watch on my lunch hour and when I'm early to work which is every day of my life, SHOULD I START WATCHING IT? I want to. I hear so many nice things, love the British, and enjoy what Tumblr has shown me of Karen Gillian's face.

YES YES YES WATCH DOCTOR WHO but I will advise you that Karen Gillan's face doesn't happen until season 5. (Except when she plays a super minor nameless character in a s4 episode, shh.) But! You get Billie Piper's face for the first two seasons and then Freema Agyeman's face for the third and then one glorious, beautiful season of Catherine Tate who is in all honestly one of the most absurdly talented people who has ever graced the world with her presence. Season 1 had a different feel to me than 2-4 because David Tennant doesn't show up until season 2, and then 5 and 6 feel like another show entirely, almost, but it's really all so lovely and I think you should try it and get back to me with your feelings on it. It took me until season 2 to really get obsessy about it but I still really enjoyed season 1 and when I rewatched it a couple weeks ago I liked it even more.

COLOR ME OBSESSED. Okay, Teen Wolf is one of those shows that looks kind of fantastic and right up my alley, but I am skeptical because it is MTV and I still haven't forgiven them for the travesty that was Skins(US). SHOULD I GIVE IT A CHANCE, IS MY POINT THERE.
