It's going to be a long, cold winter. They're predicting at least a 50% spike in heating costs. It's ALREADY cold in the house at night, and it's not gotten below the 40s. We got a new roof last month, so we're hoping that will help. And the father-in-law is offering to help add insulation to the attic. But I predict a lot of layers in my future ( Read more... )

That is very nice of him. Please do add some insulation. I have been so cold lately and insulation would warm me up indeed. What? Oh, you meant the attic. In your house. Ohhhhh. Gotcha.

I need to add a bit more, too. The difficult part will be blowing it into the addition on the house, it's always the coldest... we usually just close the door and seal it up for the winter, but with Sophia that'll never fly.

I'll second Supernatural. It's been very well written and intriuging thusfar.
