So I was thinking of getting an AO3 account for ease of reading, and it said that there was 16110 people on the waiting list for a site sent invite. Does anyone who already has an account there have a free invite lying around?

Probably the book is nothing like this...
So there’s this business which imports cheap books from overseas and puts out a monthly catalogue called Bookzone. Once a month I tend to look through the catalog and send hazel, (and nishatalitha.livejournal.com before she went overseas), a list of books I think she might like to buy, and also a list of crazy sounding books that I think look ( Read more... ) -
Fuses! I can fix them!

Oh my house
So I just went to open the door of my room.
The door handle came off in my hand.
I knew that this house was kind of in poor nick, what with us being able to afford the mortgage payments and all, but I wasn't expecting it to literally fall apart at a touch.
Oh well. It screwed back on fairly easily.

Yesterday I got my full licence \o/
I am now legally allowed to drive after 10pm! I can legally drive passengers without one of them being a full licence holder! Once more the world has expanded around me!
Already the flatmates and I are planning a roadtrip this summer :D

Arabella
Okay so, I agree that pollution and global warming are a problem. Boo the use of fossil fuels etc… But I love my car. I love my car so very much.

My Dad has let me know that my Christchurch cousins are okay. \o/
The whole thing is worse after the earthquake last year where no one died. It is like an anvil fell and missed everyone, and then it turns out that there are unexpectedly 2 anvils and the second one didn't miss.

Well this morning the weather was really terrible - raining hard and blowing harder... so I thought, 'maybe I should wait and see if the weather clears?' and 'if you miss one day, you will miss two.
