Underinflated ego

I've had a few weeks off from school, now. In between semesters. I'm still going to SWC, but I've applied to SDSU. That's about as much ambition as I can summon.

Really, if I could just move in with someone, pay some of the rent, and cuddle whenever we both had some time off, I'd be happy with that life.

Is it a generational thing? I don't feel ( Read more... )

We still have noodles to do. We're in charge of creating the "Eastlake House Machine" paintings. We need to get to the distant unreachable mountains (why are they unreachable? I don't know). We need to design our own game and levels for various video games. What about that beatboxing album and the gigs of movies I just salvaged from my mother's computer? We need to go to a Bjork concert and collaborate on The Poem Packet. There are lots of secret Billy Murray movies we can discover and hold to ourselves. We need to share Aphex Twin and Prefuse 73 and Plaid. I need to teach you to cook! We must.

Ricky! You don't talk to me nearly as much as I'd want you to! (Or at all, lately, for that matter o_O) Call me! (Cause lord know I have no clue how *your* schedule works...) I have no real life, I'm free whenever...

If I did a beatboxing album, it'd suck. And the unreachable mountains are just a backdrop. That's why Eastlake voted itself the best housing community the last nine years in a row: it's the most artificial thing you can get for less than a million dollars. We are, or at least I am, in an intractable slump.

It's not like I hold it against you if you don't have anything "positive" to say. In fact, I enjoy and read your posts everytime one comes up.

With posts like these, I really sympathize with what you're going through. I mean, just because my posts are mainly fun and games, it doesn't mean I don't have a diary at home that makes me sound like some OCD freakin' lunatic. :)

We should hang out. Yeah, I constantly say this, and although I'm pretty flaky at time, I mean it. :P I can't really afford to go out and eat, but if you tell me your favorite baked good, I can try baking it! (I'm not a terrible cook mind you!) Julius' favorite is brownies, and Kirra's is anything with "Strawberry" in the name, if it's simple enough, I can whip it up no prob. Thanks to them, I'm well practiced ^_^

Sure, I'd like to crash one of your gatherings/picnics/whatever the case may be. As far as favorite baked good...probably sweet, buttery corn bread, or homemade, flaky biscuits. In fact, Southern food is comfort food, you know. With Ricky's tutoring, I should make some hush puppies and bring a basket of them.

Okay then ^_^ When we actually decide on a time...which probably won't be for a while, we're ALL broke, ^^; I'll let you know. I'm sure my friends are wondering about this person that I talk so much about...^_^

Hmmmm, Corn Bread. First request for something not sweet :) I'll try my very best, sir! I'll also be looking foreward to sampling some of your Hush Puppies. ^^ Drag Ricky along as well and make him bring yummy things too!

And when we start school next week, whenever you have a chance, you should try and catch me in the Student Center (My schedule is posted as you know ^^) Or, just find Julius and I after our Japanese class. We'll get out around 5:45, just before one of your classes start, I'm pretty sure. Ack. I need to check again...I can't even remember my *own* schedule, how do I expect to remember everyone elses ^^;

You have my cell phone number right?

It's not in my phonebook. I know you gave it to me before but...it's not in my mailbox, either. Could you e-mail it to me? Or just post it here and then delete your comment, that's an easy way to e-mail me =)

Don't come out here! It's...icky! Well, up North probably isn't so bad. Still overpriced and hectic.

Hey, you're seeing a therapist, right? How have they helped you?
