It *was* bizzare. Our bird was flapping around in his cage and it sounded like someone was in our house. The bed shook really hard, and the house was creaking and popping. Very rude awakening LOL! Woke us all up. Then at work at about 10:15 am, we had another one! My computer was hitting the front of my desk, and my chair was rolling around with me in it. LOL! It's just a very spooky feeling. We're not used to stuff like that here. Tornado's, floods, bone chilling cold, snow--yes--earthquakes? NOOOOOOOO
We have had earthquakes here (courtesy of the "Westford Fault" which is the town about a mile from our house) but because the fault is very shallow, they don't amount to much or last very long. The only one I ever noticed made me think a big truck had gone by, or something big had fallen in the cellar.
I hope it didn't cause too much damage--especially at your house, of course--and no one is hurt (freaked out, yes!).
