Wow. I just read through most of it, and I've gotta say: I'm excited to hopefully see some of these eventually. Specifically Wristcutters: A Love Story (even if it wasn't the best, the plot sounds worth it), El Aura, and The Science of Sleep. Hmmmm.
That's really something I'd like to do someday, except Utah's a bit far for me. And, well, skipping classes and such.
I loved TV Junkie also. What a hard film to watch. I would say that was my favorite documentary. A true documentary, huh?
I liked This Film Is Not Yet Rated though I really really wish they had focused more on the aspect of violence being so easily passed over.
I thought Wristcutters was pretty awful. Not only because I was giggly over Pat Fugit (I've known him since like 6th grade), but I just thought it was a good concept, poorly executed. They set up this different world that had no real rules (except the no smiling thing, which was awesome). The ending was so fucking convenient, and why the hell did he get special treatment? He gets to come back for some reason why all those other people suffer...to me he didn't do anything special enough to constitute a second chance at life. I was really dissapointed in it. But I loved that song from the Russian guy or whatever he was.
