There's nothing wrong with being opposites. Sokka's from the Water Tribe, I'm from the Fire Nation. I'm a princess, he's a peasant even if he has the delusion that he is a prince. There's plenty of things that we clash over personality wise too, but it just works.

Its yin and yang, opposites complement each other. You shouldn't have to feel like you're walking on eggshells because if you're doing that, then you're not being yourself.

If she really loves you, then she'll accept it that you want to go exploring again. You never know though, she might want to go with you. Being in love changes people drastically. I mean, look at me.
