The area of town I work in used to be a good part of town, now it's not so much. It's an older part of Tulsa and my mom grew up in that neighborhood and went to school in the area... but it's since then it's kind of gotten a little run down. It was fun times and LA can be scary like that. There are times I remember going to LA during the school year, going clubbing with friends and bums being obnoxious. Boo big cities.

Hell, any big city can be scary like that. Kind of like being in Downtown Tulsa at night. Too many bums. I want to run for the hills.

We don't have that many homeless people here in a visible sense. However, at night in the subway stations before they close at around 12 midnight and in the ones where there's underground passages you can see many more living in boxes. Some things seem to be the same the world over :/

I have little sympathy for people who are homeless due to laziness or their own bad habits, but a lot of sympathy for those who are because of circumstances they could not control.
