I've been going to kendo club with my friends this term! It's a lot of hard work and well, my feet have constant blisters and my muscles are currently still sore from Wednesday's session, but it's still quite interesting =) Unfortunately, I can't really hold the shinai with just my left hand very well... I need to practise more ( Read more... )

OMG I WATCH IT TOO. AND I'M ONLY HALF WAY THROUGH EP 21. I LOOOVE the show and the writer is SERIOUSLY commendable for being able to write such a realistic story. Seriously. I mean, minus all the really traditional stuff (bowing to parents on your hands and knees, greeting elders all the time when you enter someone's house, etc) it could be my family :) I wish I had more time to watch it too.

I really like Taesub but the thing is, I can visibly tell how uncomfortable/apprehensive he is during the scenes he has with Kyungsoo. He was spectacular in the father-son scene and really reached a great emotional depth for the character, but he is SO not comfortable with acting out the guy-guy thing. Which sucks, because the potential for great chemistry is there and Kyungsoo's actor is just fantastic.

Yay!

I noticed Song Chang Eui's uncomfortableness too, but I mostly let it slide because he has said that while he did worry about the gay storyline, he decided to go for it and in turn, has been understanding more about his character's feelings. I'm also a little bit biased, hahaa~ Here's hoping that he gets more comfortable in the rest of the episodes (40+ more to go!).
