WTF?! Really? That is dumb, although I guess they have to make money somehow. I wondered why you didn't think of it!

Cynthia Turner also posts internships, I think.

Oh, you know who else? NYWIFT has a website where they post stuff like this, and a mailing list for jobs and internships.

Their Number: (212) 679-0870
An E-mail: info@nywift.org (e-mail will take longer, that is like the big dumping ground e-mail)

Actually I'd be really interested! But I'd probably only be able to do one day a week. I'm getting my degree in video/interactive media from MICA, I've got a little over a year left, and plan to move to NYC as soon as school is finished, plus hopefully I'll be living in Tribeca for a month or two this summer. Should I forward you a resume??

sure! I'll need a cover letter as well (it doesn't have to be super long) - if you want, send me an email and I'll give you the whole scoop on where I work.

Have you tried MediaBistro? Not sure if it's super well suited to your company, but it's worth taking a look.

You could try contacting film studies departments at area schools (or the career services offices for these schools).
