im pretty much never on here anymore but i had some questions to ask you. i figured you might know best. so we are traveling throughout europe in march. i think we are using the eurail but im worried about the stupidist thing.....plug adapters. i need to have a curling iron because number one...i have short hair...and that ugly frizzy all over the place german hair at that...
the overnight trains probably dont have plugs.... or do they?
or have you ever used a cordless curling iron? i cant find anybody that sells them!
this isn't true for every train in every country, but there will likely be sockets on the overnight trains. if not in your cabin, then def in the bathroom.
I would just pick up a cheap curling iron once you're in europe and save yourself the hassle of buying adapters. things like blowdryers (from the states) always ended up getting blown out or short circuited - but I don't have much experience with curling irons. ipods and computers are fine to use with adapters.
also, I think Eurail is a crock of shit and should be avoided.
seconded... do not bring a curling irons unless you plan to invest in an industrial grade transformers. not only will you kill the curling iron, but you have a good chance of setting your apartment on fire.
You should go comment on http://community.livejournal.com/france/564524.html the study abroad crowd are having themselve a pretty sad whine fest over the credits they are losing due to those inconvenient strikes.
