Via smckeown, Octopus story with a happy ending - an octopus steals a diver's camera while it is filming and he has to chase it down to get it back. Negotiations ensue. I like the music and I love the last few scenes a lot. Much with the happy making.

I'm glad you liked it. I recently learned that octopuses have eve been observed to show dreaming behavior, which is utterly cool, since their brains are very definitely the result of a different evolutionary path than other dreaming creatures (which are all vertebrates and warm blooded).

I know. I like the little flashes of color change. They are such pretty creatures.

This sounds like a lovely plan. The one problem is that I am going to a wedding on Saturday and may or may not be up to anything involving an early start on Sunday. I can't say for certain yet, though.

Glad you like the video. I think the octopus is going "wheeeeee!" and giggling through much of it, but only in octopus.

I enjoyed the other journal entry you linked to! Had to laugh about the proselytizing octopus. "Here, take this packet of sperm! Take it, take it! And this copy of the New Testiment as well."

The octopus in the video was definately enjoying itself! Taking the camera and running seems like playing behavior to me.
