When; Thanksgiving Day Rating; PG for now, subject to change Characters; The people Charlie invited to Thanksgiving Summary; Charlie throws her first Thanksgiving dinner ever. Log; ( That's a serious amount of food. )
Now this, this was another holiday Toph could get behind. First there was the one with free candy, and now the one with free food. It almost made her want to visit Earth, but apparently the City was enough like it that she didn't have to. Good compromise, she supposed.
She knocked on Charlie's door, but spent a moment with her hand on the doorknob to unlock it. Everyone used metal locks around here, which was no problem for her. Not that she was going to be a burglar or anything, but she never worried if she forgot her apartment key.
The knock was the announcement, so after she unlocked the door she opened it and stepped inside. She'd let Katara braid her hair so it looked nice, and her clothes were pretty clean, if nothing particularly special. She could hear a bunch of people around, most of which she hadn't met. Oh, and Charlie's footsteps too, somewhere. She knew those feet.
"Smells good," she said appreciatively, tossing her coat and hat in the direction of the coatrack and wading in.
Any holiday where eating was a part of it was typically favored by Charlie. Except, when Christmas rolls around, Charlie's going to be keeping it quiet. Maybe ordering chinese food and staying in.
She heard the knock and excused herself from whoever she was talking to. Probably Tony. When Toph came in, Charlie was grinning. Something that would most assuredly be evident in her voice when she spoke.
"Hi, Toph! Good shot with the jacket and hat." The coat and jacket had made it. They'd covered someone elses coat and jacket but still. Good shot, indeed.
"That's what I want to hear. Happy Thanksgiving, Char. I didn't know if I should bring something... but I can't cook, so I didn't. Looks like you took care of it, though." She smiled.

"Hope you're hungry. I cooked a lot."
