[ Rhodey's made it part of his mission for the night to get a good impression of the people Tony's entrusted with security for the night, so sooner rather than later, he'll come to intercept her. ]

Everything quiet?

[She turns dark eyes on him. This isn't her usual sort of job, she doesn't take all that well to having anyone watching over her shoulder, but this isn't her city either. She has none of the armor of reputation that kept her back home. It boils down to the simple fact that she needs the money. So rather than just blowing off the question, she answers simply,]

So far. No one's too drunk yet.

[Yet being the operative word.]

Give it an hour, that'll come.

[ This, Rhodey knows from experience. Tony's parties are legendary for several reasons, but the amount of alcohol is among them somewhere. ]

There are drinks.

[She shrugs, as if that really says it all.]

And I don't find self-control to be all that common. Especially not with all of...

[She motions to the hoopla; fireworks and decorations, uniformed staff and live music.]

[ Shrugging. ] I haven't seen enough of this place yet to judge, but knowing Tony and general human nature, there'll be drunk people soon enough.

Best case scenario, they're all happy drunks.

[She had a condescending attitude of superiority towards anyone who drank, or smoked, or even drank coffee. She had her own vices, and they were nasty, but she thought they were an improvement over the casual pollution of her body and mind.]

Happy drunks still cause trouble.

Less so than aggressive drunks.

[She purses her lips slightly.]

By definition.

[ Nodding. Obviously. ]

What's the plan of evacuation in case this thing blows? [ He's not quizzing her, he honestly wants to know. ]

[It grates her all the same. She didn't want to give a shit about evacuating these people. If they couldn't get out of the way it was their own damn problem. Back home, all she had to do was keep Facon from being shot on her watch, and Facon was plenty good at not getting shot all on her own. That was what Carla liked about her, really.]

Staff exits are preferable.

[Cramped quarters, yes, but that offered some cover, unlike the open spaces of the ballroom and lobby. She motions to a few of the doors, one heads into a stairwell, another off to the kitchen, etc etc. When there was trouble, the sheep always stampeded into the most obvious direction, so anything stemming from that inevitable tide of idiocy was an improvement, in her view.]

[ If she's working security, she had better care, is Rhodey's opinion. ]

Good thought.

[Stuff your opinions, soldier boy.]

Anything else, or do I pass the pop quiz?

The evaluation comes in case of emergency. [ Shrugging. ]

I'll leave you to it.

[She crosses her arms over her chest obviously looking incredibly 'grateful' to be 'left to it.']
